About Inlay
Built by a remodeler,
for remodelers
Inlay exists because its founder spent years watching good projects die at the moment the homeowner heard the number.

Why this exists
“We’d love to do it. We just need to think about the number.”
We heard that sentence hundreds of times running a kitchen and bath company. An afternoon in someone’s home, an honest bid — and then their faces changing at $60,000 on paper. Those projects didn’t die because homeowners didn’t want them. They died because nobody showed the number as a monthly payment.
The contractors winning those jobs weren’t better builders — they just had a financing answer ready at the exact moment sticker shock hit. So we built the tool we’d always wanted: a widget that shows homeowners a real monthly range on your website, hands you their name, email, budget, and credit tier, and follows up fast, under your name — because it’s your customer.
No per-lead pricing, because we’ve been on the wrong end of that. One plan, $19 a month, cancel whenever you want. That’s the whole business model.
The problem
Contractors are leaving money on the table
The average remodeler spends $100–300 a month on lead generation platforms. Those leads are cold, shared with competitors, and arrive with no context about what the customer can actually spend.
Meanwhile, the customer who visited your website last week — the one who spent 10 minutes looking at your kitchen portfolio — disappeared. No follow-up. No offer of financing. No reason to stay.
The solution
Turn your website into a lead engine
Inlay puts a financing simulator on your website. Customers move a slider, see what their project might cost per month, and enter their email to save their estimate. You get a warm lead — someone who knows their budget and is ready to talk.
Then Inlay follows up automatically with a 3-step email sequence under your name. By the time most contractors call a cold Angi lead, you’ve already had three conversations.
What we believe
How we build Inlay
Honest by default
The widget shows estimated ranges, not exact quotes. We’d rather set the right expectation than overpromise and lose a customer’s trust at the lender.
Simple over clever
Remodelers are busy. Inlay installs in 10 minutes, works out of the box, and doesn’t require a training session. If it needs explaining, we simplify it.
Speed matters
A lead that doesn’t get a follow-up in the first hour is half as likely to convert. Everything we build is designed to close that window as fast as possible.
